After a week’s break for Easter, the 1st XV travel to play Harrogate in their final game of the league season – they will return the following week for their first pool game of the 2024 Papa John’s Community Cup competition.
Having finally caught up with their fixtures, Harrogate now sit top, two points clear of Heath – so, Driffield could still upset Harrogate’s hopes for promotion if Heath win at Ilkley, also a tough game.
A pitch inspection revealed that Harrogate’s pitch was not playable, and neither was Knaresborough’s, so the game will be played at Kelleythorpe.
A decision is awaited for the Ladies’ game on Sunday – may be played at Knaresborough.
