We welcome all players and supporters from Alnwick, currently second in the league behind Heath. They have had an excellent start to the season, having lost just the one game by a single point away at Harrogate.
We are in the middle of a run of games against the top four teams. We came a little unstuck last week and today’s game will be as tough. However, if we can learn from last week I am confident we can take the points. The two teams have played here 14 times since 95-96, with Driffield taking the spoils on all but three of them, so generally goes the way of the home team. We all hope that continues today.
Changes are made to the side that played Harrogate. Angus Dinnell makes his first start at hooker. Evan Warren-Lambert returns at blindside. In the backs, Josh Stanyon starts at 10, Gregor Napier moves to full-back with Owen Scurry starting on the wing.
