Following on from the fantastic Pipe and Glass lunch on Saturday, 11 October which was held to raise funds for the Jack Stabler Memorial Trust, we are delighted to announce that the total raised from the day was £7,100.

These funds were raised through the generosity of those attending, who all participated in a ‘lock-and-key’ game, as well as the usual Chairman’s Challenge.

Added to these, donations were subsequently made by James and Kate MacKenzie at The Pipe & Glass and by Driffield Rugby Union Football Club.

We would like to thank the sponsors who made very generous donations to allow the day to be such a success :

  • Little Kelk Glamping
  • House of Townend
  • Edwards Potato Vodka
  • Wold Top Brewery

As well as these, we would like to thank the Pipe & Glass and their team for the fantastic food they produced for our 155 guests on Saturday, which has received nothing but positive feedback.

Finally, thank you to the Stabler Family who joined us on Saturday.  As a club, we are incredibly proud to be able to support The Jack Stabler Memorial Trust, where all funds raised for the trust are being used to enhance the opportunities that children and young people receive within our local sporting community.
