This Friday sees us entertain Jed-Forest RUFC, kicking off at 18:30, and giving both teams the chance to get some contact practice before the start of the season.
Jed-Forest is one of the world’s oldest and most famous clubs, founded in 1885.
No-one can remember playing them before – they contacted us following a discussion they had with our good friends at Alnwick RUFC.
The bar will be open from 17:15, so why not come down and get the new season off to a start by watching the 1st XV squad have their run-out ?
Please note that, as it is Steam Traction Rally weekend, our main car park is being used for marshalling arrivals to it. Car parking will therefore be in the grass field on the roundabout, just before the clubhouse – we will have someone at the gate directing traffic. There will also be some limited pitch-side parking for the usual group of club members.
