The cost of kit for fast-growing younger players can be significant and, because they grow so quickly, is often still in good condition when it no longer fits. So, our Ladies XV have organised a ‘Boot Drop’ for this weekend, so that any unwanted boots can be, as they say these days, re-purposed.
If your old boots no longer fit,
And Santa gifted you some new kit.
Please don’t throw those boots away,
Spruce them up and bring them our way.
For a boot drop is happening at the club,
Where we will put the boots in a tub.
Ready to gift them to those who are without,
So all can be involved, with no one left out.
The event will take place in the clubhouse bar, starting at 10:00.
